Phil Healy – Chief Executive Officer
Phil has been leading large private and public sector organisations, technical innovations, project deliveries and business change for over 20 years. He cut his teeth working in the telecommunications product industry where he was responsible for the delivery and support of several large, international product lines (up to £300m pa turnover). Between these product lines Phil served as UK CTO and VP Strategy for a publicly listed telecommunications company. In this role he was responsible for technical sales support as well as leading the internal technology agenda. Throughout his career, Phil has been responsible for introducing and trouble-shooting new technology, products, tools and methods; this started with telecommunications product technology but has extended to a broad range of ICT applications and methods for test/assurance. Phil has also held senior roles in “Right-Shore” technical sales/delivery and Major Programme Assurance/Recovery.
Patrick Chatee – Director
Patrick has been leading software quality assurance and testing companies for over 20 years. During that time, he has helped more than 60 blue-chip clients achieve major successes as a result of his advice and actions. As a result, he has established himself as one of the leading experts on the subject, and is a much sought after advisor to top firms in the financial services, technology, legal, health and retail sectors Patrick has also built some of the most successful companies in the software quality assurance space, including Mission Testing (now owned by Capita). As well as directing all sales, marketing and partner activities at SQA, Patrick continues to lead consulting engagements at major clients such as Lloyds Banking Group, Bank of New York Mellon, Virgin Money, and UBS.
Jeremy Round – Director
Since 2005 Jeremy has developed, configured, measured, consulted, and delivered training on sanctions screening on four continents for many of the biggest names in global banking. In the past three years, he has performed assurance work on the sanctions screening systems of all four major UK high street banks, and has led workstreams for both OFAC deferred prosecution agreements, and FCA AML attestations. Jeremy regularly delivers training to compliance teams around the world, and provides the quarterly sanctions training workshop for the British Bankers’ Association. His knowledge of payment, customer and trade finance screening systems is second to none; as his experience of local regulatory requirements through Europe, Africa, and the Far East.

Mark Pate - Business Operations
Mark is a well-rounded individual who has a background in implementing change and leading large operational teams.
He has extensive experience across a number of specialisms, spanning service & transition, commercial management, business operations, business development, programme delivery, business and people change.
Mark is heavily focused on benefits, outcomes and delivering for both internal and external clients.
Mark has over 17 years of experience leading large scale £20m+ PA public sector contracts and has also managed local government sales operations for a publicly listed telecommunications provider as Head of Business Strategy & Planning, a £400m PA service line.
Mark has also led several large scale transformational IT programmes across a number of industry vertical markets, with proven success in all engagements.
Mark now heads up SQA’s Business Assurance practice and internal business operations.
Rosaire Hoey - Operations Manager
Rose has been involved in finance and operations for over 20 years, she has worked on multiple corporate initiatives, developing start up and medium sized organisations into industry leaders within their vertical markets. Rose is a proven processes and procedure specialist deploying back office solutions to underpin our companies accelerated growth. Rose’s expertise has enabled us to expand our geographic footprint both in the UK and overseas. Her proficiency enables us to seamlessly co-ordinate our ever expanding consulting capability whist ensuring that as an organisation we are always embracing the latest technology and utilising it to our advantage. Rose has insured that we utilise the latest browser based time management and invoicing systems enabling our clients to approve and track project and resource progress in real time. Rose is responsible for operations and finance for the UK and Ireland

Sergio Pereira – Head of Product Engineering
Sergio has been working in the software development industry for over 16 years.
He has a wide experience leading and delivering large scale products to major clients.
Sergio has a particular interest in the ALM and DevOps space and is a strong efficiency advocate. This has helped him transform software development teams into highly efficient production lines.
Sergio and his team are leading the way to leverage the company's wide knowledge through new in-house products and driven by high standards of software engineering, process automation and efficiency so that our delivery teams can focus on what matters the most.
Kenny Laing – Head of FinCrime Prevention Practice
Kenny has over 30 years’ experience in the banking sector across a variety of retail, corporate, institutional and compliance roles in both the business and IT.
This versatility has allowed him to step into diverse roles ranging from being Interim Head of Systems Assurance at a major bank in London to assuring the compliance of the International Trade Finance operation of a bank in New York. Kenny is able to engage with all levels of stakeholders from offshore operations units to senior managers and from system vendors to regulators.
A mathematical/analytical background combined with a curious and enquiring mind provides an extra dimension of value add to the benefit of many clients.
Richard Clarke – Head of Security Practice
Richard is a Cyber Researcher, Security Tester and Strategist, with over 18 years’ experience delivering in depth 3rd /4th line technical, forensic and security incident response, systems hardening, mentoring and penetration testing solutions to the UK Government and Education sectors.
Richard has a passion for Cyber Threat Intelligence and has led and participated in Cyber Vulnerability Assessments, for UK government assets in the UK and abroad, including penetration testing, health checks and Red vs Blue accreditation exercises, as both adversary and defender.
Richard works closely with all SQA Practice Leads to ensure customer solutions are delivered using current best of breed security solutions and provide sector specific, cost effective, defensive strategies.
Sarah Connolly – AML Business Unit Manager
Sarah has spent the last 16 years working in the financial services sector in both a consultancy and operational capacity.
For the last 12 years, Sarah’s skills have been finely tuned as an AML and Sanctions implementation specialist, managing and leading teams working on Sanctions screening implementations, transaction monitoring strategy development and implementations, customer risk assessment right through to the day to management of teams working suspicious transaction alerts.
Sarah has worked for SQA Consulting since January 2017, managing the Financial Crime Practice in Ireland, focusing primarily on the provision of assurance services, training and product development.
Sarah’s previous operational roles means that she is all too familiar with regulator expectations and as such is consistently focused on ensuring Clients manage their risks appropriately.
