This year sees the 10th anniversary of the launch of the SQA CTRP (Cities Town Regions and Ports) list.
Geographic screening has seen a marked increase in implementations this year, with the profile of banks using CTRP lists to supplement their screening endeavours moving from Tier 1 to Tier 2, and extending beyond traditional banking to MSBs and other types if Financial Institutions.
A CTRP list is a gazetteer of place names compiled to help screening engines discover references to very high-risk countries that might otherwise go undetected.
The SQA CTRP list features place name spellings from many different languages and character sets to support modern global enterprises.
