SQA Consulting first launched a screening assessment tool with specific intent to understand the vulnerabilities of screening in 2006.
Since then, the SQA screening assessment centre has evolved into a highly sophisticated tool for analysing screening systems, covering Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Adverse Media as well as sanctions. It is easy & intuitive to use but does require a good knowledge of screening systems to get the most out of it.
The screening assessment centre is available as a product, or as a service where SQA consultants perform the assessment on your behalf & deliver a detailed report of their findings. The screening assessment centre includes tests for sanctions, Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and Adverse Media.
Your screening system is vital to your AML and sanctions compliance. Without the correct alerts being generated, violative activity could be happening in your business under your very nose.
The screening assessment centre tool measures your capability of detecting alerts in over 50 different scenarios, & validates that all names from your global regulators are captured correctly.
The ability to compare your results to peers in your community, allows you to better understand your own progress & standing.
The SQA screening benchmark compares the relative standing of your screening effectiveness & efficiency based on our fuzzy matching tests (effectiveness), & false-positive rate tests (efficiency). Think of it like a car comparison of speed vs economy, it is a trade-off between two attributes which combat each other. To get more effective matching usually means getting less efficiency (which may be counter-productive in your alert investigation effectiveness).
Get yourself on our benchmark diagram & know where you stand.
Did we mention it also covers PEPs & adverse media?
