System Selection & Tuning

system selection & tuning

SQA Consulting’s tools can give you priceless insight when implementing or replacing a screening system.

The SQA Screening Assessment Centre (SAC) is typically used to assess the match effectiveness & efficiency of a screening engine when providing system assurance, when a graph similar to the example below is produced to assess how a system compares with other benchmark screening systems:

The SAC can also be used to assist system tuning, by producing screening assessments for different system configuration settings. Then instead of a single plotted point representing a production system’s result, we can plot a range of results at different configuration systems:

Now, the system owner has the information to help them tune their system configuration to give the optimum setting in terms of screening effectiveness vs efficiency depending on their sanctions risk appetite.

This approach can be extended to plot results for different screening systems to help compare effectiveness across different systems to aid selection of which screening system is considered preferable.
